Parts Delivery Driver

Garff Transportation Services (GTS) is a part of Ken Garff Automotive Group, a family operated business since 1932. We are looking to hire a Delivery Driver (Auto Parts) who is responsible, self-motivated, and helpful as a team player. This role is based out of our South Salt Lake, UT hub.

Location: 2180 South Panama Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84115

Work schedule: Monday - Friday, no weekends

Starting pay: $17 per hour

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores, and vendors per
• Follow all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Inspect and light maintenance on assigned vehicle (truck)
• Wax truck every two months.
• Be responsible for the basic upkeep of the truck:  check oil with each fill-up, ensure that the truck is lubricated the first week of each month, and get annual state safety inspections when due.

Requirements:

• Previous customer service or delivery driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in English. Strong communication skills.
• A valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards.
• Proficient computer skills. Ability to use a smart phone or hand-held device 
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role: sitting and driving company provided vehicles 6- 8 hours per shift. Lift and transport parts weighing up to 50 pounds several times a day.
