The level of autonomy, technical complexity, and leadership responsibility distinctly separates the four technician roles.  Role Primary Focus On-the-Job Autonomy & Leadership Technician 1 (Entry-Level) Assists experienced technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Focuses on learning and applying safety protocols. Works under specific direction and direct supervision.
