About the Role

The Finance Systems and Strategy team is committed to driving operational excellence, delivering service excellence, and enabling a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the Finance organization. The Manager, IT Finance Systems, will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance Systems & Strategy to execute the strategic roadmap focused on process optimization and business analysis across the Finance function. This role will partner with both IT and Finance teams to drive enhancements in financial processes and enablement through technology. This role provides critical support for the implementation and ongoing support of SAP S4/HANA and the technology transformation Roadmap of existing applications.

What You’ll Do

  • Is an application owner for significant portion of the Element application portfolio which includes all financial applications (S/4HANA, Ariba, Vertex, GEAC etc).
  • Is responsible for day-to-day incident management, request management and performance & availability of applications.
  • Is responsible for successful delivery of all projects that impact the Financial Systems.
  • Partner with Finance and IT leaders to execute the technology strategy for the future Financial & ERP Systems.
  • Lead projects on financial systems, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Provide day-to-day management to guide the team through the software application development and support lifecycles.
  • Owns and champions IT operational processes and ensures compliance from team on SDLC best practices and SOC/GITC compliance.
  • Leads/manages/mentors team members & are responsible for working with individuals on personal development plans.
  • Supporting internal and external audits and responsible to provide audit artifacts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering fields.
  • 10+ years of progressive hands-on experience in software development and application support within Mainframe, SAP, .Net or SQL.
  • Hands on experience on S/4HANA, Mainframe based systems.
  • Proven experience of playing a key role in large scale implementation and/or integration projects.
  • Experience communicating Software Development related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical background in Software Development, project delivery and ITIL Practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Fleet management business or financial application.
  • Certifications on AWS / other cloud technologies.
  • Background in Mainframe, .Net, SQL.
  • Strong influencing skills to get things done; a collaborative approach with the ability to partner with business leaders across the enterprise.
  • Proponent of continuous improvement process and the ability to challenge the status quo.

Location:

Current Location: Toronto, Ontario

The hiring base salary range for this position is $111,100 - $152,800 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
