Pediatric Neonatology Hospitalist (Professor) Opportunity:

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) John Sealy School of Medicine in Galveston is seeking a full-time Pediatric Neonatology Hospitalist at the rank of Professor of Clinical Practice. This is a unique opportunity to join a nationally recognized academic health system and a collaborative team of clinicians dedicated to advancing care for children.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment, contribute to the education of pediatric residents and medical students, and engage in meaningful clinical care across UTMB’s Galveston Island and Clear Lake, and Angleton campuses.

 

Job Duties:

Active practitioner with eligibility or certification by a board recognized by the American Board of Specialties. Pediatrician with exceptional skills in the care and treatment of Level I, and II  babies in the UTMB Health Galveston Newborn Nursery providing inpatient coverage.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a MD or DO degree and a current and unrestricted license to practice in the State of Texas.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Registration with Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA); Basic Cardiac Support (BCLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification with continuous renewal every two years.

 

Salary:

Commensurate with Experience.
