Your Role on the Team
The Director, National HOA provides leadership and direction for the Company’s centralized HOA operations to ensure consistent, effective execution. This role will be responsible for one or more of the following specialty functions: Lease Administration, Lease Quality Assurance, Call Center, HOA, Housing Authority Programs (HAP), utility management services and market level customer service and issue resolution strategies. The Director also helps plan, design, and implement operational processes, policies, and procedures while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and workflow enhancements. Key responsibilities include:
Coach and mentor centralized HOA compliance team members and external partners on professional methods, practices, and standards
Oversee day-to-day operations of the centralized HOA compliance team, supporting HOA Managers and Compliance partners
Enhance service standards to ensure timely and accurate execution of centralized HOA functions
Identify opportunities to expand and optimize workflows across field and centralized HOA compliance operations
Provide stakeholders with routine feedback on process improvement opportunities and support implementation efforts
Lead cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Leasing, Accounting, Finance, Legal, RTM, Technology, and Human Resources
Assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and monitor violation trends affecting departmental performance
Support Capital Markets during financing and transaction initiatives
Prepare regular and ad hoc presentations for Senior Management on department performance and strategy
Build cross-functional relationships to strengthen communication and problem-solving
Adhere to all Invitation Homes safety guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Your Experience Includes
Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field preferred
Five or more years of experience leading functional teams
Five or more years of property management or HOA management experience
Experience with Yardi or similar property management software required
Salesforce experience preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to operate standard office equipment, to include telephones, printers and copiers.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce
Strong organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of federal fair housing, fair credit reporting, and applicable local housing laws
Ability to present to large groups
Proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated
Ability to make timely and effective decisions
Ability to analyze processes and solve problems
Ability to remain flexible and creative across a variety of situations
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Real estate license preferred

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is: $110,587.50 - $191,685.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.Compensation and Benefits
