Job Description

Responsibilities
•  Run demo samples in the demo lab and support sales team on pre-sales and post-sales customer projects.
•  Conduct customer training in the demo lab.
•  Develop and apply new methods and new techniques to provide solutions to customers; understand customers' current and future needs and design related application strategies.
•  Update sales team on product and industry application information based on company product offerings and hot industry trends.
•  Interact with customers through developing new application methods, participating in industry exhibitions, and presenting at conferences.
•  Team with sales representatives on sales calls and visits, acting as a technical consultant to provide prospective customers with technical information and perform product demonstrations to assist with their purchasing decisions; work with vendors, partners, and sales to ensure optimum system solutions are provided to new and existing customers.
•  Provide software and application training, troubleshooting, and method development in post-sales support.
Basic Qualifications
•  Master’s degree or above in analytical chemistry, materials or related field.
•  Demonstrated method development capability with FTIR/UV/TEA systems, especially familiarity with TEA and hyphenated products and related applications.
•  Ability to manage and leverage external and internal resources to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
•  Strong communication and teamwork capabilities; be a team player.
•  Self-driven and continuously learning ability.
