Join a dynamic RMB Global Markets Middle Office supporting front office trading desks across a broad range of products including Equities, Commodities, FX, and Interest Rate Instruments. This role sits at the heart of the trading lifecycle, ensuring accurate trade capture, valuation alignment, P&L integrity, and end-to-end lifecycle management.

You will operate in close partnership with Trading, Risk, Finance, Settlements, and Technology teams, providing critical oversight, control, and insight to ensure efficient, well-controlled, and scalable trading activity while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and operational excellence.
  • Are you someone who has an interest or experience in:

  • Supporting Fixed Income trading desks through accurate trade capture, validation, and lifecycle management of products such as bonds, repos, and interest rate derivatives
  • Performing trade validation and booking oversight, ensuring adherence to booking models, policies, and governance standards
  • Monitoring and managing the full trade lifecycle, including events such as fixings, resets, maturities, and cashflows
  • Analyzing and resolving trade breaks, settlement issues, and position discrepancies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
  • Supporting P&L attribution and explain, understanding key drivers such as market moves, new trades, and lifecycle events
  • Validating market data inputs (e.g., curves, rates, spreads) to ensure accuracy in valuation and risk reporting
  • Performing position and risk reconciliations to ensure alignment between front office and downstream systems
  • Monitoring trade flows and STP processes, identifying failures and ensuring completeness of risk capture
  • Maintaining strong risk and control frameworks, including break investigation, escalation, and governance adherence
  • Contributing to process improvements, control enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborating with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to support day-to-day desk activity and strategic change initiatives
  • You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Advantageous: working towards CFA or FRM
  • 1–4 years’ experience in Trade Support, Middle Office, Product Control, or Markets Operations within a Fixed Income or broader trading environment
  • Working knowledge of trade lifecycle, valuation methodologies, and P&L attribution/explain
  • Proven ability to investigate and resolve breaks, including trade, cash, position, and valuation discrepancies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market movements and their impact on valuations and P&L
  • Experience working with trading platforms such as Murex or Front Arena
  • Familiarity with market data inputs and their role in pricing and risk models
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to tools such as SQL, Python, or VBA is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with traders and cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to operate in a fast-paced, control-focused trading environment
