Pay Rate: £44,291.70
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off – 2 Days/2 Nights - 12 hour shifts.
Location: Burton on Trent, DE14 1PT

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Coordinating a small team in a busy distribution yard, ensuring trailers are correctly loaded, secured, checked and ready for departure.

Completing trunking deliveries from the brewery to RDCs and other locations, while supporting on-site shunting and trailer positioning activities.

Liaising with transport operations, shift managers and customers regarding trailer movements, priorities and service requirements.

Opening and closing trailer curtains throughout the shift and carrying out other hands-on duties across the site.

Maintaining health, safety and compliance standards while delivering excellent customer service and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Hold a valid Category C+E / Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

Enjoy leading others and taking responsibility for team performance.

Are proactive, customer-focused and confident communicating with customers and operational teams.

Have a good level of physical fitness and are comfortable carrying out manual duties, including opening and closing trailer curtains.

Take pride in working safely, following processes and driving continuous improvement.
