Job Description
Oversee actuarial valuations for financial statements and regulatory submissions
Ensure accurate measurement of insurance contracts and compliance with IFRS 17 standards
Monitor RBC ratios and support capital planning strategies
Provide actuarial input for product pricing and profitability assessments
Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis for financial risk management
Manage and mentor actuarial staff; build technical capabilities within the team
Prepare and present actuarial reports to senior management and regulators
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
Professional actuarial certification (ASA, FSA, FIA, or equivalent) is highly preferred. 7–10 years of experience in actuarial roles within insurance or financial services
Strong background in financial reporting, reserving, and capital adequacy
Experience with IFRS 17, RBC, and regulatory compliance
Advanced actuarial modeling and valuation skills
Proficiency in actuarial software (Prophet, Moses) and programming tools (R, Python,VBA).
