The Opportunity

This position works out of our Kyiv location in the EPD Division.

Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based (70%) medical professional responsible for engaging external experts and healthcare professionals within the assigned country to ensure high-quality scientific exchange and support the optimal use of biosimilar and oncology therapies.

What will you do:

Interaction with Key Opinion Leaders

  • Identify, map, and build long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and healthcare professionals within the country

  • Support organization and execution of scientific meetings (e.g., advisory boards, expert meetings)

  • Engage with local medical societies and relevant stakeholders where appropriate

Medical Strategy Execution

  • Implement local medical plans in alignment with regional/global strategy

  • Provide medical support during pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (medical, commercial, market access) to ensure appropriate scientific input

Insights Generation

  • Collect and report field-based medical insights, including: unmet medical needs, treatment practices, patient flow.

  • Provide structured feedback to local and regional medical teams

  • Contribute to insight generation initiatives and expert interactions

Evidence Generation & Clinical Support

  • Identify potential investigators and research opportunities within the country

  • Support feasibility assessments and site engagement

  • Contribute to identification of local evidence gaps

  • Support implementation of local and regional research initiatives

Scientific Support & Medical Education

  • Provide compliant scientific training to internal stakeholders (e.g., sales teams)

  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with accurate and balanced information

  • Support localization and review of medical and educational materials

Scientific Activities Execution

  • Support execution of medical education initiatives (e.g., expert meetings, speaker programs, local congress activities)

  • Contribute to implementation of patient support and access programs (where applicable and compliant)

  • Ensure high-quality execution of planned medical activities at country level

  • Provide balanced, peer-to-peer education to HCPs

Medical Information & Scientific Communication

  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner

  • Provide balanced, evidence-based scientific information on company products and relevant therapeutic areas

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of scientific messaging in alignment with approved materials and medical guidance

  • Support clarification of scientific data and appropriate product use in clinical practice

Compliance & Medical Governance

  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a non-promotional and compliant manner

  • Adhere to company SOPs, local regulations, and industry codes

  • Ensure proper documentation of all external interactions

  • Support pharmacovigilance requirements (e.g., adverse event reporting)

Qualifications Required

  • Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences.

  • Postgraduate education in oncology/immunology is an advantage

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, clinical practice, or broader healthcare environment

  • Experience in engagement with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders is an advantage

  • Understanding of the local pharmaceutical landscape and healthcare system is preferred

  • Experience in a field-based medical role (MSL or similar) is an advantage

  • Strong understanding of scientific research, clinical trial design/conduct and interpretation of medical/scientific data (scientific acumen)

  • Strong clinical thinking and ability to translate scientific data into medical practice

  • Effective communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with external experts

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)

  • Fluency in local language(s) relevant to the assigned country

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory)
