Operator

The Operator performs operational work related to loading/unloading tank trucks and railcars; bulk liquid transfer within the facility; performing basic tank, pipe and pumping system maintenance; and general housekeeping for the yard and the shop areas.Principle Responsibilities:Load and unload trucks which involves climbing ladders and moving/picking up 50#+ hosesLoad and unload railcars using large wenches to loosen fittings and boltsResponsible for bulk liquid transfers - opening and closing large gate valves, walking throughout the plant on uneven surfaces/gravel/rock/grass and climbing stairs/catwalks/vertical laddersOperate various style pumps and troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance/repairsOperate boiler and replace steam fittings as neededPerform general inside housekeeping and outside housekeeping involving physical labor, shovel, wheelbarrow, and rakePerform maintenance using hand tools, moving heavy valves/pipes, and some loader operationParticipates and contributes to company safety programPerforms other job-related duties as assigned  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this positions.
