Job Description
Develop and improve capacitive diaphragma gauges (CDGs)
Contribute to and lead technology studies and R&D development projects
Provide technical expertise and application support within the organization
Monitor patents and technological developments
Design and conduct verification and validation tests
Support product lifecycle management and controlled product changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including electronics, production, and product management
Participate in conferences, workshops, and panel discussions to represent INFICON and exchange knowledge with the scientific community
Master’s or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of thermal physics or gas dynamics
Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
Fluent in English and German
Experience with experimental work and laboratory testing
Knowledge of vacuum technology is an advantage
Hands-on mentality and structured working style
Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams
Enjoy working with international colleagues
Willingness to travel worldwide
