What You'll Be Doing

We're seeking a motivated Maintenance Service Technician with experience in electrical and plumbing repairs who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality work, and brings a positive, high-energy attitude to the team each day.
As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:
Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems
Complete service requests accurately and efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service to residents
Assist with apartment turns, make-readies, and preventive maintenance projects
Maintain the appearance, safety, and overall condition of community grounds and common areas
Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, vendors, and team members regarding repairs and service updates
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance requests when needed
Work closely with the Service Manager and maintenance team to ensure community standards are consistently exceeded
Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset while contributing to a positive community environment
Compensation & Incentives
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
Base Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Up to 50% Rent Discount
Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly
On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule
Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Paid rotating on-call participation required (approximately every 4 weeks)
Must be available and prepared for emergency events
Schedule subject to change based on business needs
What We'll Expect from You
2+ years of maintenance experience preferred
Hands-on experience with electrical and plumbing repairs
Basic HVAC knowledge; EPA certification is a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
Active, valid driver's license and personal vehicle
Must live within a reasonable distance to support on-call and emergency response
