About our property:

The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

The cleanliness and enjoyment of a hotel/resort pool is one of the main reasons that keep our guests returning to and recommending our hotels to friends and family. It goes without saying that experience a guest has while enjoying the pool environment is one of the most memorable of their stay.

We are looking for individuals with tremendous personalities, great attention to detail to join our team as a Pool Attendant.

Your Role:

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all pool areas, decks, lounge areas, walkways, and surrounding grounds.

• Continuously pick up trash, debris, and used towels throughout the pool area.

• Collect, transport, wash, dry, fold, and restock pool towels to ensure an adequate supply is available for guests at all times.

• Transport clean towels between the laundry room and pool attendant stations.

• Reset lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, and seating areas throughout the day to maintain a clean and organized appearance.

• Set up and break down the pool area daily.

• Follow all cleaning and sanitation procedures in accordance with department standards.

• Remove soiled linens and trash from service areas and transport them to designated locations.

• Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns to management promptly.

• Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.

Seasonal Position and must be available on holidays and weekends.

What are we looking for?

• Someone with a experience in a guest service role
• Someone with an engaging and energetic personality
• Someone with the ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Someone with the ability to communicate effectively
• Someone who can lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs.
• Someone with the availability to work varied shifts to include, nights, weekends and holidays
