H6029 - Engineering Technician Traffic Wage

The Fredericksburg District is seeking a motivated Part-Time, Engineering Technician - Traffic, to support traffic engineering. This role is primarily field based, involving significant driving and walking, with some time spent in an office setting for data entry. Field data collection requires manually setting up equipment to collect vehicle counts, collecting GPS locations, and computer data entry. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to work independently, comfortable with fieldwork, can evaluate optimal equipment placement, and proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. This position offers valuable hands-on experience for individuals interested in traffic engineering.
