Job Overview:

The Talent Management Central Team (TMC) is a team within Oliver Wyman’s Human Capital (HC) department and is designed to offer program management and administrative support to Talent Managers across a number of Talent Management processes. The TMC will have global responsibilities and will work seamlessly with the global Talent Management team, as well as with Talent Managers in each of our Teams and Regions.

The TMC will also be responsible for interfacing with senior group of stakeholders from across the TM and HC function.

The Coordinator Role requires mastery of core coordinator responsibilities, knowledge of Staffing and Performance Management system. This role entails managing multiple demands and competing priorities in a timely manner.

Oliver Wyman is a fast-paced environment that requires fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities:

Activities related to programs and processes for consultant talent and performance management processes, including, but not limited to performance management, global consultant programs, staffing system updates, reporting, developing training materials, and ad hoc Talent Management requests across Oliver Wyman.

Note that while the role will focus on the areas above, some additional support for Talent Management activities may also be required.

  • Manage Specialist Performance Management (PM) Processes (e.g., Mid-Year Promotion Assessments, Year-End Evaluations, Project Reviews, Goals, etc.):

    • Core member of the PM process management team

    • Drive ad hoc and ongoing improvements to forms and workflows

    • Launch, update, and create specialist processes, forms, and workflows

    • Administer all aspects of Specialist PM processes as system administrator including regular communication and / or training to key stakeholders regarding process timelines, expectations, and other useful information

    • On-going support as system admin

      • Troubleshoot user issues effectively and promptly

      • Update / correct review information as needed

      • Analyze process submission trends and communicate findings with Specialist Talent Managers

  • General Consultant Performance Management administration

    • Weekly Consultant Project Review creation

    • Team coverage for other consultant processes as needed

    • Ongoing support as system admin

  • Staffing

    • Staffing system assignment creations, updates

    • Reporting / Analyses related to projects and staffing

  • Support for other internal programs

    • MBA / Masters sponsorship program administration and coordination

  • Other

    • Build and maintain relationships with team members and key clients

    • Collaborate with other teams and departments as necessary to address requests or issues

    • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming requests

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably working in performance management or HR administration

Technical Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and comfort manipulating data in reports), Word, and PowerPoint

  • Basic understanding of systems and an aptitude for learning to operate new systems of medium complexity

Skills and Attributes:
