About the role

Reporting to the Head of Global Remote Service Center& global training, you will join a multidisciplinary technical team delivering expertise across commissioning, technical audits, condition monitoring, and strategic maintenance planning. As a Senior Electrical & Automation Specialist, you will support regional operations and client sites by providing advanced electrical and automation analysis, improving equipment reliability, and optimizing control system performance and maintenance strategies. In addition, you will lead and support the implementation of electrical monitoring systems, automation upgrades, and digital maintenance solutions, while driving process and performance improvements. The role also involves conducting in-depth technical assessments, supporting condition-based maintenance initiatives, and acting as a key technical interface between site teams, management, and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will contribute to organizational growth by delivering high-level technical training, both internally and to clients.

About the Department

The Global Remote Service Center, based in Cairo, serves as a central pillar of Fuller Technologies’ global technical and digital service operations. Responsible for the execution of OCMS service, delivery of specialized training, technical audits, and continuous remote technical support, the center works closely with regional teams and clients worldwide. With a strong focus on operational excellence, knowledge transfer, and data-driven decision-making, the team ensures consistent technical standards, effective monitoring practices, and high-quality service delivery across all regions. Known for its collaborative, international, and performance-oriented approach, the Global Remote Service Center plays a critical role in supporting asset reliability, enabling condition-based maintenance strategies, and driving sustainable operational improvements for the organization and its customers.

Your responsibilities

Technical Support & Advisory

  • Identify and troubleshoot complex electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related operational issues, offering sustainable corrective actions.

  • Evaluate customer needs and recommend tailored automation upgrades, electrical system improvements, and smart monitoring solutions.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging electrical, automation, and industrial digitalization technologies and industry best practices.

CMMS , Automation & Control System Projects

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial communication systems aligned with site operational strategies and the implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) aligned with site-specific maintenance strategies.

  • Collaborate with planners, reliability engineers, and operation teams to optimize control logic, alarm management, and system performance.

  • Support electrical and automation commissioning activities for new equipment and modernization projects.

OCMS Monitoring & Development

  • Manage the execution of Online Condition Monitoring Systems for electrical and automation assets, including sensor integration, signal validation, and data analysis protocols.

  • Develop and continuously improve monitoring and diagnostic strategies based on real-time operational and performance data.

Technical Audits

  • Plan and execute structured technical audits focused on electrical systems, automation performance, reliability, and compliance.

  • Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations to improve system availability, reduce failure risks, and optimize operational efficiency.

Training & Capability Development

  • Design and deliver technical training sessions for internal teams and clients on electrical systems, automation platforms, OCMS, and troubleshooting methodologies.

  • Act as a coach and mentor for junior engineers and technicians.

Customer Engagement & Support

  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with clients by offering proactive technical support and tailored engineering solutions.

  • Serve as a key technical contact for strategic accounts, ensuring consistent satisfaction and value delivery.

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote a proactive safety culture, ensuring personal and team compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

  • Identify potential risks and enforce safe working practices in all operational areas.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial electrical and automation systems, preferably within Cement industry.

  • Proven experience in PLC, SCADA, DCS systems, industrial networks, and condition monitoring solutions.

  • Strong understanding of industrial drives, motors, instrumentation, power distribution systems, and automation strategies.

  • Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration projects is highly preferred.

  • Certification in industrial automation platforms, thermography, or power quality analysis is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
