Job Description
Summary:
The Distribution Support team serves to provide excellent service to Distribution personnel (agents, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Multiple Line General Agents (MLGAs)) regarding one or more disciplines (life, personal, ag & commercial). The Distribution Support Specialist II contributes a high level of service to one or more lines of business (life, personal, ag & commercial).
Employees in this role are required to accurately record all hours worked and submit timesheets in accordance with company policy. Overtime may be assigned as business needs dictate, and employees are expected to work overtime when required.
This is a 100% in-office position. Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.
Essential Responsibilities:
Answers telephone calls promptly providing solutions to the caller’s questions.
Answers e-mails promptly providing solutions to the writer’s questions.
Documents content of calls and e-mails.
Contacts new interns/agents/MLGAs to confirm set-up and familiarize with resources.
Participates in project teams for assigned system development, enhancement, testing and training.
Assists with training of new team members.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
High school diploma.
Minimum of two years of customer service experience required.
Supervisory/management experience not applicable.
Knowledge of insurance required; in-depth knowledge of lines of business for at least one discipline (life, personal or commercial).
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Insurance operating systems experience; in-depth knowledge of operating systems.
Insurance designation
Salary range is $37638 - $57000
