Job Description
*Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Family Nurse Practitioner to join its Highland Family Medicine Office, located on 777 S. Clinton Avenue, just around the corner from HH. Highland Family Medicine could entertain a Full Time, 36 or 40 hour a week employee for this role.
Some duties include but are not limited to:
Direct patient care, coordination of clinical services and assurance of continuity of care, resident and other student education, as well as assisting the coordination of team functions.
Provides direct patient care to patients from neonate through geriatrics according to community standards for clinical practice, Family Medicine protocols, procedures and guidelines, and professional Nurse Practitioner standards for advanced clinical practice.
Practices within the scope of New York State Nurse Practitioner regulations as per the New York State Nurse Practitioner Act as well as the Federal DEA prescriptive regulations if DEA registered.
Examines patients and prescribes treatment when indicated for individuals and families requiring acute and chronic health care, preventive and restorative care, and evaluation and care of physical, mental, and developmental function and capabilities.
Salary Range:
$98,000.00 - $130,083.20 annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
