As a Technical Sales Representative II at Ryerson, you will be responsible for growing transactional sales, customer relationships and building sustainable territories within all of North America.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create & develop new customer relationships, at mid to large size OEM’s and/or ‘Contract Mfg’s, with a 100% focus on complex fabrication
- Develop both internal & external supply chains to facilitate new customer development and existing account growth
- Interact at high levels, with professionals and executives of Fortune 500 corporations, to build & expand the Ryerson network, relative to value-added sales
- Support & develop our expansion of internal assets, via customer demand, to grow our Ryerson Advanced Processing (RAP) footprint
- Develop high level Outside Shop Partners (OSP’s), in multiple geographies, to support the expansion of the RAP footprint
- Assist in the ‘On-Boarding’ of new customer packages and/or relationships

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree is Preferred
- 5 - 7 years of experience selling/managing in manufacturing industry
- Successful track record of selling fabrication to a variety of account sizes is preferred
- Competency in print analysis, high-level customer management, project management and customer on-boarding
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Knowledge of Sigma Nest & AutoCAD preferred
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Strong math aptitude
