Job Description
Role Overview
This role focuses on cultivating a positive school climate by supporting student behavior. This role involves developing strong mentoring relationships with students, managing behavior across school environments, and running the school's Wellness Room to help students build self-regulation and coping skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Behavior Instruction: Design and deliver engaging behavior and social-emotional lessons to students in both large and small group settings.
- Wellness Room Management: Run the Wellness Room, helping students reset, learn coping strategies, and successfully return to class.
- Active Supervision: Actively support and manage student behavior during unstructured times, including recess and playground activities.
- Mentorship & Connection: Intentionally build strong, trusting relationships with students to serve as a consistent, positive role model.
- Responsive Support: Adapt to evolving campus needs by completing other behavior-related duties and interventions as they arise.
Applicant must be highly qualified. This would include one of the following:
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or
- 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
- Pass the ParaPro Assessment

Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.88/Hour) Not Highly Qualified
Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.88/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
Lane 3 Step 1 ($19.94/Hour) Current/Former Licensed Teacher
