Position Summary 

The Post-Judgment Motion Specialist is responsible for managing post-judgment foreclosure activity related to foreclosure sales within a high-volume Florida foreclosure practice. This position plays a critical role in ensuring foreclosure sales are timely scheduled, canceled, postponed, or reset in accordance with client instructions, court requirements, and procedural deadlines.

This role requires extensive knowledge of Florida foreclosure procedures, county-specific and judge-specific requirements, judicial submission platforms, and client servicing systems. The Post-Judgment Motion Specialist will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and court personnel to ensure sale-related matters are handled accurately and efficiently, including urgent requests that may arise shortly before a scheduled foreclosure sale.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Prepare, review, and electronically file post-judgment motions, including Motions to Set Sale, Motions to Cancel Sale, Motions to Reset Sale, Motions to Vacate Sale, and other sale-related pleadings.

• Prepare proposed orders and supporting documentation for submission to courts and judicial review platforms.

• Monitor foreclosure sale activity and ensure all required post-judgment actions are completed within client and court deadlines.

• Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert for foreclosure sale procedures, including county-specific requirements, judicial preferences, emergency sale cancellations, expedited order entry processes, and proper submission of proposed orders through applicable judicial platforms.

• Review client instructions, bankruptcy notices, reinstatements, payoffs, loan modifications, and other events impacting scheduled foreclosure sales.

• Process urgent sale cancellation and postponement requests, including matters requiring same-day or expedited handling.

• Navigate county-specific and judge-specific procedures to facilitate timely entry of sale-related orders.

• Submit pleadings and proposed orders through the Florida E-Filing Portal, CourtMAP, JAWS, JACS, Benchmark, and other county-specific systems as required.

• Maintain and update client systems, case management systems, and workflow platforms to ensure accurate status reporting and milestone tracking.

• Review court dockets, orders, and case activity to determine appropriate next steps and required action.

• Communicate with attorneys, judicial assistants, court personnel, clients, and internal departments regarding pending sale-related matters.

• Assist with identifying and resolving procedural issues that may impact foreclosure sale timelines.

• Ensure compliance with firm procedures, court requirements, investor guidelines, and client expectations.

• Support high-volume foreclosure operations through accurate and timely management of post-judgment workflow.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 

• Minimum three years of Florida foreclosure experience, with emphasis on post-judgment or foreclosure sales processes preferred.

• Experience preparing and filing foreclosure motions and proposed orders.

• Thorough knowledge of Florida foreclosure procedures, judicial sales processes, and county-specific requirements.

• Experience utilizing Black Knight/LPS, SSC, Tempo, CaseAware, and other client servicing and case management platforms.

• Experience utilizing Florida court systems, including E-Filing Portal, CourtMAP, JAWS, JACS, Benchmark, and county-specific judicial platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage a high-volume inventory and prioritize urgent requests with competing deadlines.

• Strong written communication and follow-through skills.

• Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment in time-sensitive situations.

• Experience with client reporting systems, workflow management tools, and foreclosure servicing platforms preferred.


Physical Demands and Work Environment  

This position requires extended periods of sitting while working on a computer, reviewing legal documents, monitoring court dockets, and maintaining workflow queues. The employee must be able to effectively communicate with attorneys, court personnel, clients, judicial assistants, and team members via telephone, email, video conference, and other electronic means.

The employee must possess the ability to analyze information, prioritize competing deadlines, and make decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The position requires the ability to maintain attention to detail while handling a high-volume inventory of files and managing multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
