Job Description

Position Description: As a Business Development Manager, you will own the full sales cycle - from first dial to signed agreement. You will research and identify target customers, build relationships through discovery calls, run product demonstrations, and close deals. This is a high-activity, full-ownership role designed for someone who is passionate about sales, comfortable introducing a new solution to a new market, and ready to operate with a high degree of independence. You will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate with the Customer Success and global product teams. You will also work closely with marketing to support outreach campaigns that drive inbound interest and reinforce your outbound efforts. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting Pipeline Development Research and identify target municipalities, public works departments, and city engineers across your territory. Own your outreach - cold calls, emails, LinkedIn engagement, and event follow-up. Build a customer-first approach through thoughtful discovery calls that uncover real needs. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline from scratch and meet weekly and monthly activity targets. Full-Cycle Sales Execution Manage every stage of the sales process from first contact to signed agreement. Deliver tailored product demonstrations and clearly articulate value to municipal stakeholders. Navigate public sector procurement, respond to RFPs as needed, and drive deals to close. Achieve defined revenue and pipeline targets. Represent EDGITAL in customer meetings, presentations, webinars, and industry events as needed. Marketing Campaign Collaboration Partner with the marketing team to develop impactful email and social media campaigns for customer acquisition. Share market feedback, objections, and insights to help refine messaging and outreach strategy. Continually improve and adapt your sales approach and share best practices with the team. CRM Pipeline Management Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in HubSpot across all prospects and active opportunities. Track activity, forecast pipeline, and report on progress consistently. Follow a structured sales process with clear next steps at every stage.
