Day Shift 1 – Front Half (Sun–Tue + alternating Wed), 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Day Shift 2 –  Back Half (Thurs-Sun + alternating Wed), 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM

About the Role

We are hiring multiple Equipment Maintenance Technicians across all functional areas of our semiconductor fabrication facility in Wilmington, MA. We welcome candidates across a range of experience levels, from early-career technicians to seasoned experts.

As an Equipment Technician, you will play a critical role in maximizing tool uptime, performance, and reliability within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to build deep technical expertise across multiple process areas while working in a collaborative, fast-paced fab environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime and improve yield

  • Support tools across various process areas, such as:

    • Thin Films / PVD (e.g., AMAT Endura, Centura)

    • Implant

    • Photolithography

    • CVD / Diffusion

  • Monitor equipment performance and escalate or resolve issues as needed

  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to optimize tool performance and reliability

  • Accurately document maintenance activities, issues, and resolutions

  • Cross-train and support other fab areas as business needs evolve

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience maintaining semiconductor processing equipment

  • Working knowledge in one or more areas: Thin Films, Implant, Photo, CVD, or Diffusion

  • Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read and follow technical procedures and documentation

  • Basic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications (varies by level):

  • Experience with specific platforms (AMAT, ULVAC, Lam Research, etc.)

  • Advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, or tool ownership experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift in a cleanroom environment

  • Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and stair use

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to distinguish colors and respond to tool alarms (visual and auditory)

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $32 to $40.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
