Dietary Aide

Excelcare at (LOCATION) is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. This role supports meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean dining environment while helping ensure residents receive quality meals and excellent service.

Dietary Aide Key Responsibilities:

• Waste disposal

• floor power washing

• kitchen equipment sanitation

• Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines

• Deliver trays to resident rooms and dining areas

• Follow portion control and sanitation procedures

• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and dishware

• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation

• Provide snacks and hydration as directed

• Support special dietary needs and resident preferences

• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff

Dietary Aide Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting a plus

• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Must be available to work every other weekend
