
Senior Manager of Women's Long-Term Program
Job Description
Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area for over 70 years.
We currently seek a Senior Manager of Women's Long-Term Program that will lead a team of staff members and volunteers to serve Light of Life's female guests and their children. This leader oversees all existing Women & Children's programs, keeping them equipped and at capacity. The position reports to the Director of Programs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads Women and Children's program staff as a cohesive team while continuing to create a healthy work culture.
- Creates synergy across the key elements of W&C programming: emergency shelter, addiction recovery, life skills and long-term residential services.
- Partner with community partners, public agencies, and service providers to build and sustain a strong network of referral services.
- Support the Development Group by providing expertise and stories of transformation to advance Light of Life's Mission.
- Foster impactful church and volunteer engagement.
- Actively collaborate with Light of Life's men's programming and social enterprises.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in the Social Service/Human Service field + 5 years related experience.
- Three 3+ years previous supervision experience recommended.
- Knowledge of controlled substances, addiction, mental illness, homelessness, and poverty issues.
- 12-Step recovery knowledge strongly desired.
- Expertise on clinical settings and treatment for clients who are dual diagnosed.
- HMIS experience and knowledge preferred.
