Job Description

 

Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer

 

We are looking for a seasoned Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer with extensive airport project experience to manage all cost-related aspects of airport construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. This professional will ensure optimal project budgeting, cost control, and value for money.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and project budgets
  • Manage project costs throughout all phases (planning, design, construction, completion)
  • Conduct value engineering studies to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Monitor and control project expenditures against approved budgets
  • Prepare variation orders, claims documentation, and contract amendments
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for airport infrastructure projects
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants on pricing and contract terms
  • Prepare progress reports and financial statements for project stakeholders
  • Manage procurement processes and tender evaluations
  • Conduct site inspections and verify quantities of work completed
  • Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation
  • Advise project management on cost implications of design changes

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
  • PRC License (Professional Regulation Commission) – valid and current
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering, with substantial airport or large-scale infrastructure project background
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine construction standards and practices
  • Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis
  • Familiarity with airport operations, maintenance standards, and aviation regulations (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license (preferred)

 

Health and Safety Engineer

 

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Engineer with a decade of airport operations expertise to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive occupational health and safety programs across all airport facilities and operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and standards compliant with Philippine labor laws and international best practices
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification across airport operations
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and corrective action plans
  • Provide safety training and orientation to all staff and contractors
  • Manage safety compliance documentation and maintain records for regulatory inspections
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies (DOLE, BIR, PCA) on safety matters and certifications
  • Monitor and evaluate contractor safety performance on airport premises
  • Develop emergency response and disaster management protocols
  • Lead safety committees and conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE)

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
  • PRC License (Professional Regulation Commission) – valid and current
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in health and safety management within airport or aviation operations
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws (Labor Code, DOLE regulations, IRR)
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 or equivalent occupational health and safety management systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software
  • Valid driver's license (preferred)
