Quality Control Technician
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as kit protocols, safety rules, standard operating procedures, equipment use and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details in fast-paced environment
• Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for testing samples.
• Test and analyze samples by running an ELISA, RIA or Multiplex immunoassay.
• Document results of test samples that include calculating the data and submitting final reports in EXCEL.
• Utilize technical knowledge and review of quality control data
• Understand and follow all procedures and processes required for ISO 9001 compliance.
• The employee may be exposed to a low risk of radiation.
• The employee may on occasion be in an area where there is a minimal to low risk of bloodborne pathogens.
• Bachelor’s degree in quality or life science disciplines with one – two years of related experience or Associate’s Degree in quality or life sciences with two –four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to calculate and apply mathematical concepts such as means, standard deviations, coefficient of variations, fractions, percentages, and molar ratios to practical situations used throughout manufacturing.
