Systems Engineer

Thea Energy is leveraging recent breakthroughs in stellarator physics and engineering to create a faster and simpler approach to commercializing fusion energy. The company is reinventing the stellarator using computer-controlled arrays of planar coils thereby replacing the intricate, complex modular magnets required in all other stellarator architectures. Thea Energy is seeking for an experienced, organized, and motivated systems engineer. This position will work on an interdisciplinary team to integrate numerous first-of-a-kind technologies while developing scalable processes and procedures. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the managing requirements, integration, and interfaces for one of the most consequential and cutting-edge technologies of our generation - fusion energy.

 

The Thea Energy team is comprised of self-motivated, innovative, and collaborative individuals with an excitement for solving complex problems. This is a challenging position that requires a high degree of autonomy, and the ideal candidate must be able to move quickly. A proven track record of leading systems engineering, excellent communication skills, and a passion for new technologies and innovation is required.
