Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis during the PM shift. As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for everyone who enters our facility.

Position Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner

• Answer incoming telephone calls and route them appropriately

• Assist visitors with sign-in procedures and facility directions

• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

• Maintain front desk records and logs

• Provide administrative support to department managers as needed

• Monitor lobby and reception areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment

• Assist with clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry

• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
