Welcome to the Los Angeles County Encore Program Retiree Registry! Our program, led by the Department of Human Resources, helps Los Angeles County retirees to be considered for 120-day temporary assignments by connecting them with partner LA County Departments. When an urgent need for an employee with unique and outstanding skills is identified by departments, they may look to hire a retiree to help address that need temporarily.
