Job Description

The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Louis area.  Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Job Summary

On workdays between March 1 and October 31, seasonal grounds workers perform general maintenance of Catholic Cemeteries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of all sections and equipment
  • General Maintenance and Endowed Care work

              - Weed Eating

              - Picking up trash/branches/debris

              - Leaf Cleanup & Removal

  •  To be able to follow through on assignments
  •  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

· Must be of legal age to work and/or have permission of the parent

Relationships Requirements

· Ability to work with a team of other seasonal grounds employees

· Ability to work with a team of Union, full-time grounds employees

· Ability to take direction from Managing Director of Grounds & Facilities and Leads

· Ability to be courteous to visitors to Catholic Cemeteries and direct them to office
