POSITION OVERVIEW:

Join the Back to Nature Home and Garden Sales Team as a Maintenance Account Manager and serve as the key liaison between our clients and the field operations team. This role is responsible for cultivating strong client relationships, delivering on key sales targets, and ensuring properties are maintained to the highest standards.

As a Maintenance Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of high-end residential accounts, conduct regular site walkthroughs, perform landscape quality audits (LQA’s) and coordinate closely with Production Managers. You will play a critical role in new client sales, post-installation transitions, and in identifying enhancement opportunities to improve and evolve our clients’ landscapes over time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet sales quotas set by Back to Nature.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance clients.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships by delivering proactive communication and consistent service excellence.
  • Conduct routine site visits to assess quality, gather client feedback, and ensure expectations are being met or exceeded.
  • Present enhancement recommendations and seasonal service proposals tailored to each property’s unique needs and goals.
  • Resolve client issues quickly and effectively with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Responsible for financial management of portfolio including timely and accurate billings and collections.
  • Work closely with Design and Construction teams to manage seamless transitions from installation to ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure production teams are fully briefed on project goals, site specifics, and client preferences.
  • Partner with the Maintenance Production Managers to align schedules, priorities, and performance expectations.
  • Perform and create Landscape Quality Audits to ensure service standards and contract requirements are met.
  • Identify and escalate issues that impact site performance or client satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of best practices in maintenance and horticultural care.
  • Prepare and present enhancement proposals and new landscape maintenance proposals.
  • Track sales opportunities and contribute to revenue growth within your portfolio.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure services are delivered profitably.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in landscape account management or a client-facing/sales role in the landscape industry.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape maintenance practices, and seasonal property care.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Aspire software experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with irrigation systems and the ability to identify potential issues or recommend upgrades.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Salary:

Full time Salaried position with a sales commission plan.

Position Range:

$60,000 - $80,000
