About the Role
The Associate Analyst will primarily focus on Oracle PL/SQL development for new projects, system enhancements, and bug fixes, while also supporting production workflows across multiple environments. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build strong technical expertise in database development and application support. The person in this role will work closely with internal teams to design, develop, test, and maintain solutions that improve business processes and system performance. In addition to development work, the role also includes supporting production activities to help ensure operational continuity and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions for new projects, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Follow SDLC processes during design, development, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues in collaboration with internal teams
- Provide shift-based support for workflows across multiple environments, as needed
- Complete assigned tasks on time with minimal defects
- Adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and business requirements
- Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Must-Have Qualifications
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience with RDBMS, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL
- Exposure to Shell or Batch scripting
- Exposure to batch or workflow scheduling tools such as Maestro, Control-M, or Windows Task Scheduler
- Experience working with Oracle 11g and 19c
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and functional teams
- B.E. in Computer Science or MCA
