What does a Human Resources Coordinator at Swire – Coca Cola do?
The Human Resources Coordinator provides personalized assistance to employees with general-HR-related questions, with a focus on ensuring employees receive accurate and timely help. They support company-wide HR administrative tasks, including unemployment claims, HRIS employee data integrity, and other similar needs. This will be done in a variety of ways, including assisting people who walk into the Employee Services room, responding to email questions or requests, and answering phone calls.
In addition, we are currently implementing AI tools to assist all Swire Coca-Cola employees to serve themselves regarding HR questions or tasks, when possible. This position will support the on-going review/auditing of our new and evolving AI tool called HR Now. This position will assist in directing individuals on how to use the tool, reviewing the AI Tool output and guidance for accuracy, providing input on how to improve the responses, and possibly assisting with testing/implanting additional use cases as the tool is improved.
Responsibilities:
Assist employees with general HR-related questions via phone, in person, and email, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information. Partners with other areas of HR to ensure employees’ questions are ultimately handled
Own the unemployment claims process, which includes responding to initial notices of new unemployment claims, partnering with leaders and HR team members for additional information, and coordinating hearings and rebuttals with ER Partners and managers. Responsible for continually seeking ways to improve the overall process and keep rates low
Process requests for employee information updates, system corrections, entitlement policy corrections, through coordination with Payroll, other HR team members, managers, and Dayforce
Respond to or forward email inquiries sent to the general HR email inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses
Process employment verification requests, including DOT and reasonable suspicion requests, ensuring accurate and timely completion
Tracks and completes Form I-9 work authorization reverifications process, including sending advance notifications to employees with expiring work authorizations and their manager. Partners with leaders and provides guidance on questions, possible non-compliance, and monitors reverifications to ensure compliance
Maintain self-help employee tools, ensuring the most up to date information is always available. Look for ways to improve such information based upon frequently asked questions and other identified gaps
Assist with personnel file requests, subpoenas, and other employee documentation-related information requests
Assist with auditing our new AI tool, HR Now, and providing enhancement suggestions
Assist other HR functional departments with needed tasks and/or projects
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Intermediate skill level in MS Office products (Word, Excel)
Previous experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms preferred
Ability to learn new HCM processes quickly
2+ year experience in a generalist or administrative HR role preferred
