What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate drilling equipment to support underground aggregate quarry production activities
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Follow drill patterns and specifications to achieve accurate blasting outcomes
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate drilling schedules and production goals
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What Are We Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate drilling or heavy equipment in an industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, layouts, and drilling plans
  • Dependable work ethic with the flexibility to adapt to changing production needs

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level

What We Offer

  • $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate

  • $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
