Job Description

Responsibilities

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management and operational strategy of designated business units within the organization. This role encompasses P&L responsibility, compliance with regulatory standards, and the implementation of the organizational mission and values across all operational touchpoints.

 

Key Performance Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and implement all administrative and program operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and all state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain financial oversight, ensuring effective stewardship of resources.
  • Set tone for accountability driving self and others for results.
  • Develop an effective leadership team through ongoing feedback and training.
  • Communicate the organizational vision and key initiatives and ensure implementation throughout the program.
  • Lead the development and execution of programs that facilitate exceptional and safe patient care and healing.
  • Engage with community and partnership stakeholders to enhance program delivery.
  • Recruit, engage, and develop talent across various operational teams, including clinical, nursing, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a vibrant work environment that promotes staff retention and operational excellence.
  • Balance local operational needs with enterprise-wide goals, demonstrating maturity and resilience in decision-making.
  • Implement process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/credential and leadership experience (one of the following):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study AND at least five (5) years of leadership experience in operations/management within the behavioral health industry; OR
  • Relevant clinical specialty certification AND at least six (6) years of leadership experience in operations/management within the behavioral health industry.
  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, or a clinical specialty preferred.

Compensation for this role ranges from $180,000k - $220,000k, depending on education and experience. 

Sign On Bonus & Relocation Allowance offered.
