Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.

 

Role Overview


The Production Operator supports manufacturing operations by executing material charging, process monitoring, and production tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role is responsible for operating assigned production circuits, maintaining process conditions, and ensuring product quality through adherence to established procedures. The position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, safety compliance, and continuous improvement within the production environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Operate assigned production circuits, including charging raw materials and monitoring process conditions to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Track and document production data, including quality checks, process logs, and operational metrics.
  • Perform material handling and packaging activities, including operating forklifts and managing production supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas through housekeeping and proper material handling practices.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures while supporting training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and perform quality and production documentation tasks.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to operate or learn industrial equipment.
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 55 pounds and extended standing or movement.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Associate degree or technical certification.
  • Experience as a chemical operator, mechanic, or heavy equipment operator.
  • Forklift operation experience or certification.
  • Experience working with production logs, safety procedures, and quality documentation.
