Motorola Solutions Global Education is responsible for creating innovative training strategies, as well as the design, development, and delivery of technical and end-user training content across the MSI solutions/product portfolio. Our training services address the educational needs of our Motorola Solutions customers, partners and employees, enabling each group to be more efficient, effective, as well as ensure established business and operational outcomes are met.
Job Description
Motorola Solutions is seeking a dynamic, and creative instructional designer/developer. As part of the Employee & Partner Education division of the Global Education team. You will design, develop, and maintain training and documentation for our sales onboarding program.
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain training assets that support sales onboarding with their use of the MSI product suite, including, but not limited to, instructor guides, student workbooks, PowerPoints, and a variety of online assets.
Write effective instructional content for a variety of deliverables, including lesson plans, guides, online content, and more.
Follow a scalable and repeatable process in the scoping, creation, and maintenance of content.
Utilize multimedia elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance the effectiveness of learning materials.
Manage and monitor training assets and courses in the LMS.
Working closely with team leads to ensure training content is focused on the right content, filling knowledge gaps, and appropriate.
Collaborate with SMEs across the organization in producing high-quality and effective training assets.
Stay current on product releases and updates to ensure that enablement content remains technically accurate and aligns with product features and use cases.
Work under tight timelines without compromising the quality of work.
Strong aptitude to learn new technology and software quickly and be able to convey the meaning of complex concepts clearly to a broad audience
Knowledge of ILT and OLT learning design and development models, adult learning principles, and delivery methods.
Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team-based environment
Creativity, enthusiasm, drive
Self-starter, able to effectively work independently
Skills:
Certification in education, adult education, communications, instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum studies, or a related field
Strong background in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications
Strong understanding of content management systems, learning management systems, and technical communication
Knowledge of graphic and video editors such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Indesign, Adobe Premier Pro, Articulate Storyline, and Vyond.
Experience in supporting a sales organization or onboarding program
Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
