Summary of Job Duties:
This full-time, benefited position serves as a Student Affairs and Admissions Manager for the Clinton School of Public Service Office of Student Affairs & Admissions (OSAA). They support the Executive Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Admissions in implementing student recruitment plans, enrollment processes, retention efforts, and student services within Clinton School for both the in-person and online programs.Duties and Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment:
Serve as point of contact for MPS & CSO program inquiries
Coordinate individual & group prospective student visits
Lead planning efforts on enrollment events
Represent the school at local & national graduate fairs and campus visits
Support the Executive Director in executing the student recruitment strategy for MPS & CSO
including through pipeline management, partnership development, etc.
Develop and implement alumni recruitment efforts in coordination with alumni services
Coordinate Clinton School community outreach to convert admitted students into enrolled
Student Affairs:
Implement new student orientation and coordinate ongoing communication and engagement
programming to transition enrolling students
Implement retention efforts across the student life cycle
Act as the central point of contact for student services across UACS partner schools (including
UALR, UAMS, and UA-Fayetteville), and represent the institution to SGA and OSGA at the request
of the Executive Director.
Serve as primary liaison for all student/administration gatherings (Lunch w/the Deans, end of
semester support events, etc)
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate the planning and execution of events
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year experience in a recruitment and/or admissions setting,
At least one year experience in higher education
Willingness to travel frequently
Familiarity with Workday platforms
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess strong written communication skills, with the ability to be able to confidently represent the institution in a professional manner.
Public speaking skills, demonstrated through the ability to confidently articulate ideas, engage audiences of varying sizes and backgrounds, and convey information persuasively
