Responsibilities
Dry Goods Receiving Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain a safe, clean and orderly working environment
Daily inventory of all packaging supplies
- Issue inventory assignments on a weekly basis
- Sign off of all products received on a daily basis
- Verify packaging paperwork with incoming packaging items
- Identify all inventory items by description and item number
- Convert receiving to ensure counts are correct with BPCS
- Understand the daily packaging report, waste entries and variances to ensure recounts are accurate
- Work with accounting clerks to ensure all items are entered and accurate
- Communicate with leads and supervisors either verbally or through 2 way radio
- Assist in receiving and/or shipping as needed
- Follow all Food Safety/Good Manufacturing Practice requirements
- Wear all required personal protective equipment
- Other duties as assigned
This is a safety sensitive position. This position is on-site.
Qualifications
Qualified Candidates for the Dry Goods Receiving Clerk position should possess the following:
Experience with parts and supplies inventory control
- Forklift experience, certified
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Ability to lift items in excess of 50 lbs
- Ability to lift, reach and squat
- Basic math skills
- Good computer skills
- Good work performance and accountability
- Excellent attendance
- Available to work all shifts with a flexible work schedule
- Conceptual/analytical thinking
- Attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and a self-starter
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
