Job Description

Position Summary:


This is an entry-level, on-site position based in Winston Salem, NC, reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator. You will work closely with various Human Resources teams and hiring managers to support the onboarding process across assigned service territories, ensuring new employees are well prepared for their respective roles. You will also assist in creating and reviewing internal communications and content for the PikeToGo platform, along with supporting additional initiatives and projects as needed.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Support and assist within the hiring process for Pike field and corporate applicants.

  • Help with system training for hiring managers around the onboarding process through Oracle Recruiting.

  • Travel to Pike locations for orientation as needed (minimal).

  • Support and lead the corporate orientation process.

  • Act as a main point of contact for new hires and hiring managers through the onboarding process.

  • Advance the employee experience and retention through strategic internal communications.

  • Help with internal communications in PikeToGo by:

    • Moderating and creating content

    • Managing data

    • Working with multiple stakeholders to continuously improve communication

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing, communications, or people-oriented role; HR experience is a plus but not required.

  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism in communication, conduct and workplace interactions.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft programs, with experience using editing and creative platforms such as Canva.

  • Comfortable with supporting management.

  • Experience with identifying and resolving problems promptly.

  • Must be willing to travel and work outside of normal work hours when needed.

  • ATS Platform experience (Oracle preferred).

  • Maintains a high level of attention to detail across HR processes, including the creation and review of internal communications.
