The Virginia Department of Health (VDH), Office of Drinking Water (ODW), is seeking to fill a Environmental Health Coordinator position in the Central Office team! The position is located at 109 Government Street, Richmond VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an office filled with passionate public health professionals dedicated to ensuring safe and reliable drinking water for citizens of Virginia. This position will take an integral role in the implementation of the federal rule aimed at eliminating per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from public drinking water systems. This position will also help ODW in the evaluation and elimination of other emerging contaminants in public drinking water.This position is eligible for partial telework and alternative work schedules.
