Development Engineer I – Ammunition Fuze Development (Lahab)
About the Role We are hiring a Development Engineer I – Ammunition Fuze to support the design, development, testing, and qualification of artillery, mortar, and warhead fuzes. Ideal for early‑career engineers passionate about precision mechanisms and defense technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support design of tooling, test equipment, and development items.
- Assist in creating assembly instructions, test plans, and procedures.
- Participate in assembly, manufacturing, and test execution.
- Provide engineering support across lifecycle phases.
- Support testing, validation, and compliance activities.
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
- Execute MRP/ERP and supplier coordination tasks.
Key Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling tools (SolidWorks, Creo).
- Familiarity with simulation tools (ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong communication and teamwork.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience or completion of IGNITE program.
Working Environment Office‑based with visits to integration, test facilities, and suppliers.
