Job Summary
The HR Generalist delivers daily, strategic HR services to support the organization's goals, mission, values, and vision. This position partners with the HR team and business leaders to create solutions for business challenges.
Essential Functions of the Role
- Supports HR and organizational initiatives like performance management, talent planning, and employee engagement. Also includes employee relations, turnover goals, and retention efforts.
- Works with HR colleagues and business leadership to create innovative solutions. Learns to examine processes and suggest improvements collaboratively.
- Challenges the status quo and pushes for positive changes. Involves others in processes and recommendations to ensure their support.
- Articulates positive values about change. Provides direction and focus during chaotic circumstances. Participates in training and professional development activities related to change management.
- Applies knowledge of legal precedents, policies, and practices to protect the organization's interests, business units, and employees.
- Partners with senior HR team members to ensure company policies align with the organization's philosophy. Uses available resources and tools to find answers.
- Provides guidance and counseling to employees and managers on basic employee relations issues. Observes confidentiality for resolution. Demonstrates sensitivity to cultural and personal differences and needs of involved parties.
- Partners with managers and HR colleagues to assess root cause issues. Recommends actions to promote employee satisfaction and reduce turnover. Works with HR team to identify trends and consider proactive solutions.

- Knowledge of applicable Federal, state and regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to communicate thoughts clearly; both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships across organizational lines.
- Must have critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to research, examine and disseminate information.
- Basic computer skills including, but not limited to, typing, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand held scanning and email.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience
