As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our team by ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently with minimal assistance. Your expertise will help us develop a steady customer base, and your proactive approach will see you making impactful in-person sales calls. This role can sit in Charlotte, NC or Greenville, SC. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plans territory/account approach and manages own resources
• Assists in training new team members
• Assists in creating account development plans
• Performs inventory management for customer-specific material
• Communicates with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative
• Occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms

Requirements

• High School diploma required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• 3-5 years prior sales or industry experience preferred
• Solid understanding of product offerings, ERP systems, and markets served
• General understanding of metal processes and products
• Proficient in MS Office
• Minimal travel required. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected with advance notice
