As a Lead Sales Specialist – Drill Bits, you will be responsible for driving growth in a key market for Baker Hughes. This customer-facing role focuses on building strong relationships, winning new business, and implementing the Geo-Zone strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, develop technical proposals, and collaborate with global teams to deliver innovative solutions that help customers achieve better performance.

As a Lead Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the Geo-Zone business plan to expand market share and enter new markets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships in a market where trust and partnership are critical.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, analyze performance data, and compare technical results between jobs.
- Participate in tenders, pricing, and commercial negotiations to secure new business.
- Track and manage opportunities using DealMachine (CRM) for accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Frequently visit customers and travel as required to maintain engagement and identify opportunities.
- Act as a key contributor to the Geo-Zone strategy and support its execution across the region.

To be successful in this role you will
- Have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Have significant industry experience with in-depth technical knowledge of Drill Bits.
- Be technically competent to discuss DB design and performance directly with customers.
- Have proven track record in sales and business development within the oil and gas sector.
- Fluency in English and Russian or Azeri (oral and written).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global and regional teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
