Category Development Leader – Personal Health (NORDICS)
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
About the Role:
As the Category Development Leader Personal Health NORDICS, you will lead the Shopper Marketing function for Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with Consumer Marketing, Key Account Management, Category Development Manager and major retail partners to elevate category growth, drive brand visibility, and deliver impactful omnichannel shopper experiences.
You will oversee strategic category development for a broad Personal Health portfolio, including:
- Oral Healthcare (Philips Sonicare)
- Male Grooming (incl. Philips OneBlade)
- Beauty (Lumea IPL, haircare appliances)
- Mother & Child Care (Philips Avent)

Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Translate marketing objectives into compelling customer strategies and localized shopper activation plans that drive value for consumers, retailers, and the business.
- Shape the omnichannel vision across key categories and retail environments.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of Shopper Activation Managers and Shopper Excellence Manager
- Build capabilities through coaching, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Shopper Marketing Excellence
- Own the development and implementation of NORDICS-wide shopper activation plans across all channels:
Consumer Electronics Retail, Drug & Grocery, and Online Pure Players. - Increase brand presence through best‑in‑class in‑store and online activation, including retail media and POS excellence.
- Drive promotional efficiency and coordination across retailers and categories.
Performance & Results
- Ensure high-quality execution of omnichannel campaigns to accelerate category growth and market share.
- Track performance through relevant KPIs and optimize strategies based on actionable insights.
Cross-Functional & External Collaboration
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Regional Shopper Marketing, and Business Unit teams.
- Act as a strategic advisor to retail partners and position the company as a preferred innovation partner.
- Manage external agencies and suppliers to deliver high-impact campaigns.
Budget Ownership
- Manage the Shopper Marketing A&P budget, ensuring optimal allocation across in-store and digital touchpoints.
Your Profile:
Experience & Skills
- Several years of experience in Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing, or Category Management, ideally in FMCG or consumer goods.
- Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing teams.
- Strong commercial mindset and experience managing omnichannel campaigns.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and analytics tools.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insight into action.
- Strong communicator with confidence when dealing with internal stakeholders and retail partners.
- Highly collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Education
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable field.
Languages
- Fluent in English and minimum one other language of the Nordic markets (written and spoken).
Personal Qualities
- Creative mindset and strong trend awareness.
- Deep understanding of consumer and shopper behavior.
- Team-oriented with a drive for process improvement and operational excellence.

A dynamic Personal Health organization driving online and in‑store activation across Nordics. You and your team will bridge Product Marketing and Sales — making you a key driver of category growth and shopper conversion in one of the most strategic business areas.
