Available Work Locations: Oakland Academy of Knowledge, Esperanza, KDA. Greenleaf Middle, Lockwood,

$200 signing bonus after 90 days of successful continuous employment

Pay: $24–$27/hour
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week (after-school hours)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure students are released only to authorized adults and monitor campus entry points.

  • Conduct safety checks and support emergency drills and response procedures.

  • Serve as a welcoming presence for students, families, and visitors.

  • Build positive relationships through responsive communication and excellent customer service.

  • Support daily attendance, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and front desk operations.

  • Assist students who need additional supervision, emotional support, or a break from activities.

  • Participate in program events, trainings, meetings, and other site initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Available to work consistently during after-school hours throughout the school year.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Commitment to supporting diverse youth and families.

  • Must pass required background and TB clearances.

Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, and/or bilingual skills (Spanish, Chinese, or other languages).
