[OWB] DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Project – the aim you’ll have

We’re rewriting an e-shop for one of the biggest office supplies providers in the United States – the Client’s services are used by 300,000 companies.

The e-shop is used by millions of users and sees over 1,000 concurrent visitors during peak times. The biggest challenge is that the e-shop is highly customizable and can be tailored to each customer separately (in terms of available products, prices, etc.).

Our international team consists of 10 developers (a mix of front-end and back-end specialists) from Poland and the US and works in an Agile way (similar to SCRUM but with fewer meetings 😉). For project management and boards the team uses Azure DevOps.

Position – how you’ll contribute

• Consult and make impactful architectural decisions 
• Best practices, knowledge and expertise transfer to other team members
• Deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code practices for automation and scalability
• Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and management

 

Expectations – the experience you need:

• At least 5+ years of commercial experience in DevOps (Azure cloud is a must-have)
• Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Expertise in Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Knowledge and experience for AzureDevOps
• Ability to share knowledge/expertise with other team members
• Polish and English on at least B2 level

Additional skills – the edge you have

• One or more Azure cloud or Kubernetes certifications
• Good communication with the team and clients (soft skills)
• Experience in using and configuring AI tools
